Chanel pre-fall 2013

Yesterday was held in Linlithgow Palace in Edinburgh, the parade Chanel Métiers d'Art pre-fall for 2013.

After Marie Antoinette, this time Karl Lagerfeld wanted to pay homage to Mary Stuart with a collection inspired by the Scotland of the sixteenth century.

The result is a clever mix of tradition and modernity in which clothes and hairstyles flavor royal alternate with sporty-chic elements (boots, kilt, shorts, mufflers and woolen caps).

One thing is certain, the tartan will continue to be in fashion next year! What do you think? See the whole collection on style.com.
